If you cannot see the large image on your favorite newspaper's detail page, there could be a few reasons:



  • If You Are Using Internet Explorer Version 9. Solution:
    Upgrade your browser. Why? Your browser is out of date. Security, better features, more reliable browsing are available to you.

  • If You Are Using Internet Explorer Version 8. Solution:
    Swtich to Chrome or
    Swtich to Firefox.
    Why? Your browser is out of date. Security, better features, more reliable browsing are available to you, but if you are Windows XP, your system does not allow you to upgrade Internet Explorer past version 8. For safer browsing, use a different browser.

  • You have JavaScript (not Java, but JavaScript) disabled in your browser. Solution:
    By default, you browser has JavaScript turned on. If you purposely have disabled it, re-eneable it. Find more information about enabling JavaScript.

    SmallTownPapers requires JavaScript to help you best view the site on your computer, tablet and phone. Turning JavaScript off disables this ability.

  • You may have a competing plugin installed on your browser. Solution:
    Temporary disable plugins on your browser. Search bars, toolbars, bookmarking enhancers may be causing the issues you are seeing. Disabling plugins may help you see more pages on the internet.

Some Pages Have The Old Style and Some Have New?

If you have visited a page on SmallTownPapers before, your browser may have stored an old copy of the web page on your computer. To get a new, fresh copy of the page, you must clear your cache. Here's how:
