Policy on mailed subscriptions

Where offered, you may purchase an annual mailed subscription to certain newspapers found on this website.

SmallTownPapers will act as broker and purchase the subscription on your behalf at a cost of the newspaper’s annual out-of-state rate, plus a service charge of $5.00. Once we place the subscription order with the newspaper (usually within 24 hours), your account with SmallTownPapers is transferred to the newspaper. All newspaper subscriptions are prepaid.

No cancellations after subscription is placed. No refunds or credits for prorated or unused subscriptions, or for mis-delivered editions. Publisher reserves the right to add or modify subscription policies from time to time. Prices and terms subject to change without notice.

Change of address notice must be mailed directly to newspaper eight weeks in advance. Subscription will not be forwarded by post office; you must notify publisher in writing of new address.

Periodic delivery via Third Class (Periodicals) Mail (USPS) to addresses in 50 U.S. states included in subscription price. Allow 6-8 weeks to receive your first edition. Thereafter, your subscription will be mailed directly from newspaper upon each publication.

Contact publisher directly to report missing editions, or with any questions regarding your subscription. Publisher may have additional subscription levels including lower-cost options, and premium subscriptions including delivery via First Class Mail, and international delivery.
